I’m Rob Saric – founder of Caretrics, where we build AI-powered revenue intelligence for healthcare clinics.
Here’s what got me here:
I spent 20+ years building software systems across startups, enterprises, and nonprofits. Along the way, I became obsessed with a specific problem – the gap between what technology could do for small businesses and what it actually does.
Healthcare clinics are a perfect example. A typical clinic running on Jane.app is losing $4,000+ per month in revenue they’ve already earned – from expired insurance authorizations, aging receivables, scheduling gaps, and billing blind spots. Not because they’re bad at their jobs, but because their tools weren’t built to catch these leaks.
That’s what Caretrics fixes. We connect to Jane.app, analyze the data, and surface the money that’s slipping through the cracks. No extra data entry. No dashboards to learn. Just clear signals about where revenue is leaking and what to do about it.

What I Build:
I’m a full-stack builder. On the Caretrics side, that means:
- Data pipelines: that extract and normalize clinic operational data from Practice Management Systems
- AI/ML models: that detect revenue anomalies and predict scheduling risks
- Enterprise systems: that help multi-clinic groups monitor performance across locations
I also run Togetheren – an AI experimentation platform where I explore world models and push the boundaries of what’s possible with machine intelligence. The research from Togetheren feeds directly into the AI engine that powers Caretrics.
Before this, I spent two decades in the trenches – leading engineering teams, shipping products at startups and large organizations, contributing to open-source projects (and even winning a few awards for it). Every role taught me something different about what makes technology actually useful vs. what just looks impressive in a demo.
Why Healthcare (The Mission)
Healthcare clinic owners are some of the hardest-working people I’ve met. They became practitioners because they care about patients – then discovered that running a business means managing insurance claims, payroll, scheduling, and compliance on top of clinical work.
Most of their software handles appointments and charting. None of it tells them where they’re losing money. That’s the gap Caretrics fills.
I’m especially focused on the allied health and rehabilitation therapy space – physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, massage therapy, and acupuncture clinics. These clinics serve communities that depend on them, and they deserve tools that protect their revenue so they can focus on patient care.
Beyond The Screen
- I’ve volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over a decade – mentoring young people through academic and personal challenges. It’s one of the most rewarding things I do.
- I believe in bootstrapping, in playing the long game, and in surrounding yourself with good-hearted people. I admire entrepreneurs who build real businesses that serve real communities – not just pitch decks and vanity metrics.
- I’m into software, cybersecurity, and AI
- I like trying new things – my first business venture involved modding video games
- I love mentoring students to help them thrive, both in and out of school
- I truly care about others’ well-being, especially kids in need
- I’m an open-source supporter, developer, and award winner
- I believe in using data to make improvements
- I’m always open to conversations with founders navigating early-stage growth, clinic owners thinking about their data strategy, or anyone building something meaningful.
